Overview

We are looking to appoint a security administrator to join our team based from Farnborough. Working in a secure environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination and administration of security matters across the division. In this diverse role, responsibilities will include: - Maintain knowledge of current MoD and HMG security requirements and provide advice to the Systems Security Officer on MOD security requirements. - Assist with maintaining accreditation of systems in accordance with the security requirements in QinetiQ's contract with MoD. - Assist with maintaining RMADS and security risk assessments for systems to support accreditation. - Assist with maintaining certification of the facility in support of the accreditation of systems. - Assist with maintaining relevant Codes of Connection (CoCo) and ensure continued approval for such connections. - Assist with maintaining Protective Document Registers. - Assist with security admin including security clearance paperwork required for visiting overseas site, security clearance validation and arranging the sending of clearance details to various sites. - Review, update and generate security operating procedures, as tasked by the Systems Security Officer. - Support compliance checking activities to be completed by the Security Team. - Assist with the development and delivery of security training to the Programme. The Fit: The successful candidate will have experience of information security and assurance. This will include experience of the MoD's security requirements (ideally including JSP 440 and JSP 604). You will be comfortable working to established security procedures. This is a key role within the team, with links to multiple stakeholders so you will have the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders using your strong communication skills. To commence the role, you will require high level clearance. Due to the timescales to achieve this, ideally candidates will already hold DV clearance, however we are open to non-cleared applicants. Required Qualifications: - Qualified MoD Crypto Custodian or willing to attend training. - Qualified MOD ITSO or willing to attend training.
