RPA Developer 18 months FTC
Overview
Role Purpose Ensure the service is continually evolved to meet requirements through the development lifecycle, comprising analysis, development, testing, integration and quality of delivery Key Accountabilities • Identifying new process opportunities and accurately analysing and estimating new processes, assessing feasibility • Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements; and act as technical expert in escalation of technical issues • Designing the automated solutions in accordance with best practice design principles and conventions • Configuring processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand • Creating and maintaining solution documentation • Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process • Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases • Supporting the wider RPA team during the UAT and rollout phases • Good interpersonal skills for team-working, and working with customers. • The ability to determine a customer's real needs and assist in selecting the most appropriate solution. Key Capabilities/Knowledge • Comprehensive understanding of RPA development using BluePrism tool • The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation • The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach in high pressure project environment, combined with an enquiring mind • An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Good interpersonal skills for team-working, and working with customers. • The ability to determine a customer's real needs and assist in selecting the most appropriate solution. • Excellent technical investigative and analytical skills • Good understanding of business process design • Ability to analyse problems and provide clear recommendations • Strong organizational skills • Able to work independently as well as be a team player and to manage own workload • Able to multi-task and prioritise to ensure project deadlines are met whilst resolving critical BAU issues Experience & Qualifications • Proven experience of successful delivery and support of RPA development using BluePrism toolset • Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution • Willingness and ability to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in the RPA product e.g. BluePrism • Experience in development through the full life-cycle from requirements capture to delivery and support. • A formal qualification at degree level, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained by practical work experience. • Some experience in process improvement approaches such as lean or 6-sigma is beneficial • Experience of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels • Experience of helping Business Cases • Good understanding of operation of relevant enterprise applications (e.g. SAP, Sharepoint) • Basic Security Clearance to be held
