Overview

We are recruiting for a multinational expanding organisation based in Cheadle, they are looking for an experienced administrator to provide support within their procurement team. This role is a full time permanent positon, working 40 hours Monday - Friday paying a salary between GBP18-21,000 DOE. About The Role: · Dealing with service desk requests from internal customers · Primarily you will coordinate service desk activities which include booking of Travel, IT purchasing, Stationary orders, ad hoc purchasing along with ordering catering supplies. · Booking internal travel requirements · Maintain strong communication links with vendors, internal and external customers · Accurately raise purchase orders in a timely manner · Advise internal customers to fully understand the status and progress of their orders and resolve issues and queries · Processing of invoices in a timely and accurate manner and dealing with any related queries · Liaise with the finance function to resolve queries · Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services · Gathering quotations and preparing options for internal customers on goods and services · Provide administration services during meetings; room bookings, minute taking, issuing of actions · Deal with general queries · Database Administration · Booking catering requests for meeting and client visits · Filing · Answering and making telephone calls Essential Skills & Experience · Excellent organisation and time management skills · Experience of raising purchase orders for goods and services · Ability to work to tight deadlines · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Good attention to detail · Good attitude and teamwork · Educated to GSCE level particularly English/Mathematics · Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) · Have experience within a purchasing supply chain procurement function or Account payable · Experience of travel bookings · Experience and understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes.
