Now is an exciting time to join as the company are launching several world-first systems and applications, as well as growing for their 10th consecutive year ESSENTIAL Experience: MUST have delivered bespoke software/systems (eg built-in .Net, Java, Python, SQL, or similar) Proven end-to-end delivery experience across large enterprise businesses Have worked on significant £ multi-million programmes that are complex Work closely with Architects & tech teams and understands the detail and challenges Recent Agile experience and the battle scars from Waterfall Working with offshore partners/3rd parties and able to hold them firmly to account About You: You'll be a seasoned "Technology Delivery" Manager/Programme Manager Able to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders Articulate communicator and commands respect from peers Close to the action and understand the challenges your teams face Confident and noble character able to push back to stakeholders when needed What you'll do: Working on the most complex technology programmes in the business spanning across almost all business domains and affecting 10's of millions of people, from software & enterprise technology, Mobile & Commercial, through to Data, Security, EUC and more You'll help to deliver £ multi-million technical change projects and programmes from initiation with the Enterprise Architecture team, through design, build, test and release. Overall responsibility for technology delivery & associated budgets of £5-15M, working closely with large on-site and offshore/3rd parties, holding all parties to account. Primary point of contact with the Enterprise Portfolio, Change function, Service Delivery, ensuring appropriate tracking metrics are captured, status reports maintained to enable progress to be monitored and visible You'll work with a team that Continuously drives process improvements in Technology and in the wider IT community - Actively participates in the management community - sharing and re-applying skills & knowledge and bringing in best practice. Ensure all design, quality & security governance followed in line with Strategy & Architecture direction, and risks are captured, tracked and appropriate actions taken. Ensuring all delivery artefacts are created and maintained throughout the delivery life cycle
