Overview

Leading and expanding UK service provider is looking for an experienced IP core MPLS/BGP senior ops engineer to provide 3rd/4th line support of my clients network. The role is a Monday to Friday day role, where you will be responsible for ensuring all escalated faults are resolved, this will include working with TAC liaison engineers and architects so that all network faults are resolved to ensure 100% uptime of the network. My client were a very early adopter of SD-WAN services along with automation network functions so this would play a large part of the role for which they are happy to provide full training Vendors include Cisco Juniper and Nokia Ideally you will have a hands on experience of the following. Advanced skill in understanding and configuring routing protocol operation - BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP. Advanced IP Addressing and Subnetting knowledge – IPv4 & IPv6 Advanced skill in understanding and configuring of switching technologies – Spanning Tree Protocol, VLANs, Dot1q, QinQ.
