Overview
The Role: We are working with a Global Business Advisory Firm, who are seeking Senior Consultants to join their Financial Consulting team in London. Given the challenging time we are all facing, our client is still committed to hiring throughout this period. All interviews will be virtual. As a Senior Consultant within their Financial Consulting team you will be primarily involved in researching and collaborating in the implementation of proprietary valuation and risk management solutions, along with supporting the senior team with writing articles and preparing proposals and presentations for new opportunities. Candidate Requirements: Our client is looking for candidates who have a minimum of 3 year's experience in a similar role. The following competencies are desired: Strong relevant work experience in quantitative finance, derivative valuation or risk management roles in investment banking, asset management or energy/commodity trading. Sound understanding of financial instruments valuation and risk management techniques in at least one asset class (equity, fixed income, credit, foreign exchange, interest rates, commodities, energy). Knowledge of global financial market policies and regulations. Ability to develop and apply robust methods to address complex financial issues. Education and qualifications required: BA/BSc, MSc, PhD in a quantitative discipline. In the process or have completed a relevant professional qualification is advantageous.
