Business Analyst - Award Management. Circa £40k Comprehensive Benefits Package. 12 Months Fixed Term with Possible Extensions. Central London. T6/MN/17789. Global organisation is seeking to secure a Business Analyst to deliver on a Transformation Delivery programme, with particular focus on the implementation of an Award Management solution. Projects will have an IT component but may vary dependant on the nature of the project. The role holder must have strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience. Accountability: Scope and gather requirements - clarify and document business and functional requirements - focus on capacity building, improved processes and new technology platforms. Projects will have an IT component - but the specific function/project being supported can vary. Analyse the relevant business area or function - document business requirements, business processes, view of existing systems, data, integration requirements etc. Business Analysts will support current and future developments - help bridge the gap between projects and the relevant functions and IT Contribute to the Business Analysis methodology Alongside the project team prioritise design requirements Maintain accurate, version controlled documentation over the project lifecycle - ensure documentation is accessible to key stakeholders - ensure the knowledge is disseminated Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the Business Analysis Methodology and associated process and templates. Skills and Experience Required: Business Analysis proven experience - scoping and gathering business requirements, workflow analysis, running workshops and creating functional requirements Facilitating workshops - ideally have experience of multi-cultural contexts Writing high quality requirements and user stories Advanced analytical and problem solving skills Strong stakeholder engagement experience Able to communicate and present to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong interpersonal skills - negotiate and mediate; able to resolve conflicting business requirements Support the creation of business cases - ensure accurate cost and effort estimations Excellent understanding of the impact of project interdependencies & business complexities Excellent communication skills (written & oral English) Effectively prioritise work to the agreed priorities with the Project Manager Experience of working with a standardised Business Analysis methodology - utilising the associated processes and tools Has a strong work ethic and able to take the initiative Takes ownership Cultural awareness - ideally have international delivery/business analysis experience Desirable: Working and delivering on international development projects Second language - Spanish, Arabic or French Keywords: IT Business Analyst, Business Analysis, Business Analyst, Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Agile, Functional Requirements, Business Case, IT Business Analyst, Business Cases, Business Analyst.
