Overview
My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Liverpool. It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and extensive experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Surface Water Drainage Strategy and Hydraulic Modelling. It is also beneficial for applicants to have achieved Chartered Status through CIWEM or the ICE. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, House Builders and Local Authorities. You will also have the opportunity to develop new business opportunities, manage projects and mentor team members. Applicants will also be supported to complete the following; -Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2 and 3. -Surface Water Management Plans. -Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategy. -Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage. -Drainage Area Planning. -Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro.
