Customer Account Manager - Buckinghamshire Salary: 20k - 29k (Yearly Bonus) The Company Our client offers bespoke packaging solutions to a wide variety of companies within the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Medical device, Defence, Aviation, Automotive, Coatings, Chemical, Food, Energy, Chemical and Packaging industries amongst many other applications The Role In the role, you will be tasked with developing additional organic and cross-sell sales growth by your own efforts, whilst account managing regular client business. The expectation is that the Account Manager will spend 5-10% of their time searching for new business to support the Sales Team and manage the companys existing customers, for the remainder. They are looking for a good can-do attitude and a proven track-record of account management and the ability to generate new business leads, so as to continue the exceptional growth weve experienced over the last 10 years. Role Responsibilities: Service existing customers orders and search for new sales opportunities Create, maintain and update CRM database with customers account information. Ensure timely follow-up of all customer fulfilment issues. Provide Holiday Cover back-up on accounts when Sales Reps are on vacation Monitor competitors39; products or services and upward report observed market-place trends Report on a weekly basis to the Commercial Director. Assist and support other colleagues with handling customer needs, when required. Assist with Sales Support task such as pre-qualifying sales leads Essential Skills Requirements: Ideally a minimum of 2 years sales account management background Ideally in one of the industries mentioned above, Hunger to develop their career in a well-established company with great long-term prospects. Full product training will be given but an understanding of manufacturing, distribution and supply chain for any type of packaging into the above markets will be beneficial.
