Overview
This is an opportunity to join an ecommerce healthcare company focused on respiratory. They are a small, friendly team that work together to make a difference to people's lives. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, NHS and private requirements for their products have increased significantly, and they need to hire an additional employee to help cope with the volume of orders being dispatched. As part of the supply chain to the NHS, their status as an essential business has been confirmed, and all employees (including the successful applicant for this role) designated as key workers. Responsibilities: Picking and packing customer orders Putting stock deliveries away Checking stock levels Other related stock and warehousing tasks Skills: Physically fit Good communication skills Self-motivated, team player Attention to detail Can-do, positive attitude Good computer literacy The company pay the London living wage of £10.75, and your contract will guarantee a minimum of 20 hours per week. Monday will be 9am-4pm with 30 minutes lunch, with the remainder of the week being a minimum of three hours per day. Holidays will be accrued hourly, at a rate of 12.5% of hours worked (one hour accrued for every eight worked). This will initially be a monthly rolling contract, but could lead the permanent position. Located in Walton-on-Thames, a short drive from Kingston, Chertsey, Weybridge, Woking, Hampton and other surrounding areas. A car is beneficial as public transport is limited.
