We’re Education Specialists We are currently working with an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school in the Aston area of Birmingham to recruit a Year 1 class teacher on a permanent basis from September 2020. About the Role: - This is a full time role due to start in September - NQTs are encouraged to apply - TLRs are available for more experienced applicants with a track record of whole school improvement in either a core or foundation subject - You’ll have all the usual roles and responsibilities of a class teacher including marking and planning - You’ll be working as part of the Key Stage 1 team- supported in class by a Teaching Assistant About the School: - This is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ School, with three elements judged as 'Outstanding' - This school has been newly refurbished and has excellent facilities for both pupils and staff - Friendly team who set high expectations for pupils and work tirelessly to ensure those standards are met - Part of the UK's most successful MAT About You: - You’ll need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - You’ll need to be able to provide suitable references - You’ll need capability to work within the UK and be able to provide documents to prove this - KS1 Experience - Demonsrated experience in supporting students with phonics screening - Ambition to develop and a passion for not just teaching, but providing students with a safe environment to develop socially About Smile: - We’re market leading education specialists- what does that mean for you?
