Overview
There is an exciting opportunity available for a Mental Health Practitioner based in Greater Manchester. The role is based in an Adult Community Mental Health Team in Trafford and is initially on an 8-week temporary contract, due to commence ASAP. Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Pay rate: £22-23ph (Ltd) dependent on experience Main Duties: The main duties of the Mental Health Practitioner include: •Managing their own caseload efficiently to ensure that excellent care is provided to service users •Conducting Mental Health assessments and monitoring progress •Screening referrals •Working in a multi-disciplinary team with Mental Health professionals Person Specification: The applicant must be an NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse, Registered Social Worker or Registered Occupational Therapist. Knowledge of Mental Health and Safeguarding is essential. Previous experience in a similar position is essential.
