This Software Developer will be based at our client’s technology innovation centre in a stunning central location, where they design state of the art world leading software products across aerospace and automotive sectors. The Software Developer will be part of a team who develop world-leading technical apps for companies across the World.Responsibilities include desktop front ends in C#/WPF or Python/Qt, engineering calculations & application logic in C#, C++ or Python and defining new applications. What we’re looking for: · Degree qualified in physics or similar · 1 years of development experience (including as part of degree/PhD) · Proficient in C# or C++/Python/Java or similar · Experience with desktop UI development in .NET WPF or QT · Automated testing – unit and system testing · Experience of working on complex object models or APIs It was also be great if Software Developer candidates had some experience in the use of Git, GitLab or GitHub, working within an agile method such as Scrum, experience in JIRA and Confluence or desktop installation with MSIs.
