This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced associate or corporate associate to join a growing team with a national network who occupy a great place in he market. OVERVIEW Job title: Corporate Associate / Senior Associate Location: Manchester Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Reports to: Head of Corporate team Previous experience: Solicitor with 3 PQE in corporate M&A work. Candidates should be interested in business development and should have started to develop a network of their own. NATURE AND QUALITY OF WORK This is a leading top 100 law firm with a highly regarded team. The department advises on a range of matters including M&A deals, Private Equity and IPOs. The client list ranges from high-quality SME work to advising major national and publicly listed clients. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE This particular piece of recruitment has come about due to a need to recruit a corporate M&A lawyer with a real interest in business development. Applicants should ideally be already be embedded in the local Manchester market, though a following is certainly not necessary. The successful candidate will be ambitious and keen to work with the rest of the corporate team in nurturing and growing the M&A offering. It should be pointed out that this role offers a clear route through to Partnership.
