Management Accountant
Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Newly Qualified Management Accountant for a well established and successful supply business in Sheffield that has operations spanning across the UK and with a number of high profile clients. This role will report to the Finance Director, along with the rest of the finance team and will be responsible for producing Monthly Management Accounts, as well as any related commercial analysis and reports to aid business decision-making. This will be a varied role with duties to include: - Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, including variance analysis Budgeting and Forecasting Ensure effective communication between the Finance Department and the operations Reporting on non-financial KPI's Reconciliation of balance sheet Prepare month-end journals, prepayments and accruals Presentation of results to management in terms of commercial performance Desire to drive continuous improvement of processes and systems across the finance department Project work as required Carry out other ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance Director The successful Management Accountant will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences: ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified Strong finance background Highly commercial mindset Proven interpersonal skills Business partnering/stakeholder management skills The business is in a strong financial position and has some exciting projects coming up, so this is a fantastic time to join this ambitious and progressive company.
