Overview

Stealth iT Recruitment urgently require a number of DevOps Engineers to join a global consulting client of ours in Canary Wharf. This role encompasses the enhancement and maintenance of a distributed containerised system through IAC tooling as well as the day-to-day operational support of the production environment. The role would suit an individual from a systems administration (i.e. GNU/Linux and/or UNIX) background with strong experience with DevOps delivery practices such as immutable infrastructure, container orchestration and Continuous Integration Must have been involved in the delivery of at least one significant project using AWS Preferably hold certification in AWS (Either Architect or DevOps) Understanding of the following AWS Services is critical: ·EC2 ·VPC ·EKS ·IAM ·S3 ·VPN ·Direct connect Tertiary Skills: ·Networking knowledge (cidr blocks etc) Further DevOps Skills: ·Be familiar with build pipelines using a CI/CD product, preferably Jenkins ·Full understanding of containerisation (Docker) ·Kubernetes experience preferred (Bare metal or EKS is acceptable) ·Bash/sh scripting ·Python Language ·Have worked in an Agile way (scrum) ·Infrastructure as code (Terraform and Or CloudFormation) ·Testing infrastructure as code.
