Overview
Role: Technical Author Location: Worcestershire Hours: Flexible – Full or Part-time Salary: £30,000 – 32,000 Due to sustained business growth, my client is looking for an experienced Technical Author to join a well-established industrial manufacturer business based in Worcestershire. As a Technical Author you will be responsible for: · The design and development of technical instructions and formal documentation for machinery · Highlighting all specifications of individual components on custom-built machinery · The draft, design and development of technical, operating and maintenance user manuals · Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure that all projects have the required drawings and data · Assisting with delivering product content design for promotional material In order to be considered for the Technical Author role, you must: · Have similar experience in previous role · Have excellent attention to detail and demonstrate high accuracy · Be competent in all Microsoft Packages · Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial · Previous experience of using Solid works would be an advantage If you would like more information on the Technical Author role, or to be considered for this role, please contact Connie Horgan at MVP Recruitment Solutions on 01905 773 370 If you are a Technical Author looking for a new challenge, but this role isn’t for you, please still get in touch to discuss other opportunities.
