Overview
Introduction: Probe Technical Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a unique Manufacturer on a 3-shift pattern with hours of work 6-2 / 10-6 / 2-10. Benefits for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Along with an hourly rate of £15.36 (£33,000) the company also offer holiday, pension and overtime. Paid overtime will be required to work as & when required and a callout pattern has been implemented within the department (including weekends). Duties of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Carry out routine maintenance & inspections, including PPM & Thermographic Complete maintenance documentation. I.E. Engineering Reports and PPM Schedules. Evaluate/identify and carry out improvements to machinery and factory. Work closely with shift personnel. Liaise directly with suppliers and service engineers. Repair breakdowns in a safe & time efficient manner. Have a sound knowledge of electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic fault finding. Requirements of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer: The ideal candidate must be fully conversant with all schematic drawings. Successful candidate must have a flexible approach towards this position. Ideally the candidate must be from a plastic manufacturing background or blow moulding or a high-volume production environment, with the understanding of meeting targets and deadlines.
