Overview
Our Technology team at N Brown are on the lookout for an experienced Platform Engineer to provide automation, tooling and cloud infrastructure support to our platforms and services. You will receive fantastic employee discounts on our products, a discounted share purchase scheme, access to our Employee Assistant Programme and much more As a Platform Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining a scalable, resilient, cloud-based Infrastructure. Working with the delivery teams to build and maintain a continuous deployment practice. Contributing to platform architecture and design, driving continuous improvement. Taking responsibility for ensuring platforms are kept secure and working with security to build this into the Infrastructure as Code configuration management solution. Ensuring high availability/disaster recovery processes are reflected as per the change cycle. Providing mentoring, coaching and support across the grad/apprentices on the team to allow for lessons to be learnt and best practices to be considered during their development. Going out into the industry and learning best practices, attending lunch/learns, meet and greets and incorporating gathered knowledge back into the platform. At N Brown, we are looking for a Platform Engineer with the following skills and experiences: The ability to naturally identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities to build a growth-mindset culture across the wider organisation. A good track record and experience of working in a similar role within a complex, large-scale environment. A passion for all things cloud and AWS. A keenness to build a strong DevOps culture. In return, a Platform Engineer at N Brown will receive a salary of up to £55,000 per annum (DOE), a pension scheme, life assurance and 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, in addition to taking advantage of the holiday purchase scheme.
