Overview
Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger job paying up to £22k for a manufacturing business in Nottingham. Your new company A leading manufacturing business with a national presence is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Nottingham. The business is looking to centralise the Accounts Payable function to their Group head office and you will be responsible for multiple business units. Your new role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and joining a finance team of 11, your responsibilities will include: - Processing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders - Obtaining the relevant department authorisation to process invoices - Monitor and update open purchase orders - Complete supplier statement reconciliation - Work with the Payments Manager to deal with any supplier payment queries What you'll need to succeed You will have previous experience working in a finance team, looking after purchase ledger duties including processing invoices and dealing with suppliers. You will be friendly by nature and keen to support a finance team in its operations. What you'll get in return You will be rewarded with a salary between £20k - £22k (depending on your level of experience) and have the chance to work as part of a great, friendly team. The business operates with an early Friday finish policy and you will be eligible for 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
