Overview
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a business who have a requirement for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the position will be to effectively work within the department helping provide a smooth running on the Purchase ledger ensuring prompt payment to suppliers and dealing with queries when they arise. Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk to include: Upload invoices on a daily basis Open & sort through daily post Scan invoices on to the system Validate invoices ready to upload Clear authorised invoices Deal with any queries logged Keep to targets given Statement reconciliations Answering incoming calls Assistance of other team members Key Requirements: Previous Purchase Ledger experience, ideally minimum of 2 years Must have a methodical approach Have a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail Possess exceptional communication skills Support and effect change where necessary Be a strong team player
