DATABASE ENGINEER £40,000-£50,000 LONDON This innovative and forward-thinking international company are looking for a candidate to join their BI team, to support the day-to-day maintenance of their data warehouse as well as the existing ETL ingestion pipeline. THE COMPANY: The company are a pensions provider than have revolutionised the way this industry works. They are an innovative business that have combined technology with pensions to help businesses with the challenges of auto enrolment. THE ROLE: As a Database Engineer your responsibilities will include: Supporting the BI team in day-to-day maintenance of data warehouse Maintaining the existing Matillion ETL ingestion pipeline Maintaining Python routines responsible for ingesting data into the Warehouse Create new SQL data transformations in line with business requirements YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: An ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Commercial experience in Python development, database engineering and data modelling Proven experience writing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex SQL and Python code Experience with ETL processes (preferably Matillion) Snowflake data warehouse exposure THE BENEFITS: The successful Database Engineer candidate will receive a salary, dependent on experience between £40,000 to £50,000.
