Accounts Assistant - Permanent job - Glasgow City Centre Your new company Our client is a leader within their field, has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent business. Operating within a competitive market the have grown substantially and developed a strong brand reputation and expertise within their market. Your new role The job for an Accounts Assistant will report into the Financial Controller and you will be part of a hard working finance team who work collaboratively and support each other. The job will focus on supporting expenses ensuring they are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You will ensure the prompt delivery of reports, supporting the finance team where necessary. In addition to this you will process personal expense claims and carry out adjustments on submitted time sheet where applicable. You will generate monthly inter office activities such as carrying out licence checks and ad hoc requests delegate by finance team members. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience working as an Accounts Assistant with the eagerness to work within a high performing team and deliver results within set time frames. Experience of expense processing is essential as well as a strong understanding of the Purchase Ledger function. You will have general experience of processing finance transactions and know the difference between debits and credits. A general understanding of HMRC regulations would be beneficial.
