Overview
A unique and exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Japanese speaking Product Manager working with a leading global brand in the manufacturing of connectors and cable assemblies for the Automotive market based from their Hampshire located European HQ. An immediate requirement, this Japanese speaking Product Manager position will work on product development projects for European based Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 Manufacturers and liaise closely with the manufacturing and R&D facilities in Japan. As the Japanese speaking Product Manager, you will primarily work on new product development opportunities where you will seek to identify and understand market openings within Automotive manufacturing, define the product and communicate with the R&D and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate delivery in order to ensure accurate commercial business case. In order to be considered for this Product Manager position, it is important that you meet the following basic criteria: - Fluency in Japanese language - Technical education in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanics - Previous experience in the automotive market - An understanding of Connector Manufacturing As part of a succession plan as a highly successful employee returns to Japan, this role is suitable for either a seasoned professional in the connector market able to immediately impact the business, or someone who is looking to develop their career and knowledge from a much earlier stage.
