Overview

Polish or Lithuanian speaking outdoor surface ground worker My client is a well-established and one of the biggest outdoor surfacing providers in the UK. The company celebrates 25 years operating nationwide and as a result of its substantial growth plans require hard working and reliable surface laying operators. Experience in installing artificial grass or laying surfaces is an advantage but if you worked in the construction or similar industry please do not hesitate to contact us. Please note, you will have to be Polish or Lithuanian speaker to join the multilingual crews This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to develop their career within the business and for the right candidates offers opportunity to progress into a team leader role. The positions are permanent. These are not Temporary Contracts or self-employed positions. You need to live local to Head Office (30-mile radius of PR25) as vans are typically issued to drivers as team members arrange pickups between themselves. Starting Salary: £350 before tax and NI £75 per week food allowance (non-taxable) - it's around £375 on hand per week altogether. After 3 months basic salary will increase in accordance with satisfactory performance to £375£75 food allowance (around £400 on hand), with further reviews every 3 months up to 12 months. Team leaders earn £475 per week. Due to the nature of the work you will be required to work away from home throughout the UK on a regular basis and be expected to occasionally work weekends and evenings to travel. Main duties but not limited to: " Driving vehicles to their destination. " Preparation of groundworks. " Loading and unloading materials according to health and safety guidelines " Activities related to installing surfaces (operating tools, mixers etc). Requirements " Valid and clean category B driver's license REQUIRED " Flexible with regards to working hours " Self-motivated individuals with attention to detail. " Excellent time keeper " Ability to work as part of a team. " A positive, 'can-do' attitude. " Experience in mixing as a labourer, using a float, laying outside surfaces will all be advantageous, but full training will be given.
