Overview
Support Worker Urgently Required Location: Worcester Hours: 37.5 hours per week Pay: Equivalent to £16,000 - £17,000 Per Annum Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Support Worker based within Worcestershire. To promote a supportive and caring environment, as part of a team, providing practical assistance and emotional support to clients, enabling them to achieve their desired level of self-sufficiency and integration into the community The successful candidate will be responsible for: Support clients with moving in, ensuring they understand and meet the terms of their tenancy and supporting them in adjusting to their new home ensuring that all physical and emotional needs are addressed Completing daily assessments making sure all health and safety needs are met Contributing to the preparation, implementation, monitoring and regular review of individual support plans Communicating with customers on a day to day basis ensuring that all necessary services including medical and social services are provided Providing advice and guidance on housing options, benefits advice, life skills and employment opportunities Ensuring that emotional support and financial advice to any service user is available when needed Essential criteria: Experience in a support-related role Hold an enhanced DBS dated in the last three years Hold a drivers licence and access to Vehicle To secure an interview for this excellent opportunity contact Lauren Bate-Jones on or alternatively email as soon as possible.
