They have recently joined forces with an innovative cloud services provider who work with their customers to create business advantage and value through pioneering solutions. They are now looking for a Support Engineer join the team at their Welwyn Garden City office. As a Support Engineer, your role will involve: - Delivering a range of cloud-based technical projects - Implementing new technical services for customers - Providing exceptional customer service through the service desk - Responding to, and resolving, customer queries through phone calls, emails and a web portal - Managing events and incidents - Acting as the escalation point for technical queries and serious issues - Achieving customer SLAs for issue resolution - Mentoring and inspiring technical staff - Supporting planning and service provision activities - Preparing migration plans - Ensuring systems are operating at peak performance Interested? To be considered as a Support Engineer, you will need: - A proven track record of delivering IT cloud solutions - Experience of supporting and delivering shared storage infrastructure, backup technologies, virtualised platforms and Microsoft Server and/or Linux OS Ideally, you will be VMware certified, but this is not essential.
