Overview
A Software Support Analyst with knowledge of SQL is required by a Global business based near to Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. In this varied role, your role will involve a mix of application support and systems development. You are required to have SQL scripting experience and ideally some knowledge of Web Technologies. You will be given the opportunity to learn new technologies and you’ll be mentored by an experienced IT team. Based near to Welwyn, you’ll join an organisation who employ over 800 staff globally and who have a fantastic reputation for developing their staff. Role Overview The role is a mix of software web development, systems analysis and application support – your duties will include the development and support of existing applications (both software and web), the migration of SQL to new versions, IT Support and systems analysis. The role would suit a Software Support Analyst who is looking for a role which offers great development opportunities. Skills Required The Software Support will ideally have the majority of the following: - Some Software Support or Application Support experience would be highly desirable. - A good knowledge of SQL Server (including some SQL scripting experience). - Knowledge of Web Development technologies such as HTML / CSS / PHP / JavaScript would be highly desirable. Location Welwyn Garden City / Hertfordshire Commute from Hatfield / St Albans / Hemel Hempstead / Luton / Watford / North London Working Hours 9am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary / Benefits to £25,000 Excellent Prospects.
