Investments Administrator

The Company: I am currently working on behalf of a market leading IFA firm based in central Leeds who are looking to add an experienced Investments Administrator to their back-office on the IM side. My client is an independent financial advice firm who have a small asset management function sat internally within the group, and with their core client on the investments side being HNW this is an attractive role for someone sitting in the investment management/stockbroking space to take on a lead role in support of a team of investment managers. The Role: The job remit here is a very broad, hands-on wealth administration support role geared around supporting multiple Investment Managers, working in HNW circles from a technical admin support perspective. Your responsibilities across investments administration will include: To ensure a smooth transfer of new clients To provide system and paperwork support for on boarding new clients To track transfer progress closely and provide updates to clients To liaise between financial planning team, operations teams and the investment management team. Conduct monthly income checks To conduct portfolio balancing Deal with queries from internal and external advisers and clients Deal with Capital Gains Tax management The Person: The successful candidate will ideally come from an investment management background (from a wealth manager or stockbroking etc) and have exposure to supporting IM’s in an investment biased working environment. You will have wide-ranging knowledge across investments including (savings/bonds/ISAs etc) as well as Capital Gains Tax, and ideally 2 years’ plus experience in a similar working environment. Experience and exposure to processing business within the asset management space is essential, with Crest system experience preferred but not essential. What next?
