Senior AV Deployment Lead - London / £55,000 Benefits A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours currently going through a very exciting period of growth. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior AV Deployment Lead to be accountable for the performance of all things AV related and the effective technical mobilization of client-based contracts. You will manage and lead your function in an environment that promotes mastery, autonomy and accountability. Currently growing (revenue-wise, people-wise and product-wise), the leadership team is looking for an AV lead with proven experience operating as a world-class AV leader to come in and collaborate with the team to lead, build, and shape the AV landscape required for the sustained delivery of the companies solution. You will need to have a strong intellectual curiosity and be passionate about all things AV and technology related, constantly driving and searching for continuous improvement and best practice in a rapidly evolving environment. As you establish your position in the organisation you will maintain a rigorous focus on ensuring that the AV provision meets both commercial Goals, technical Goals and end users needs. This will be achieved by leading an inhouse / outsourced AV function that delivers outstanding performance supported by a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands-on technical leadership position and you will be responsible for shaping, building and leading the AV capability, underpinning the business growth and success with the appropriate AV infrastructure and support moving forward. Highly experienced with Audio Visual technology and IT, the AV lead will take ownership and show versatility across a range of technologies, combined with being a key decision maker. They will shape the AV strategy for the entire organisation alongside the Implementation lead, Product lead and wider leadership group. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, confident technical leader who wants to excel in a high-growth technology business with a global footprint. Key responsibilities: Leading by example, create and nurture a best-in-class AV function Provide Technical leadership for all things AV and video related in the company. Including work on cutting edge R&D projects. Deliver high quality, high availability AV solutions for all end users Work with the Implementation and Product Lead to define and deliver the AV technical vision for the service. Define and flawlessly deliver the AV roadmap within the required time frames, in a consistent and predictable manner to meet key growth, product and customer objectives. Drive the expansion of the AV function, using best practices, through the outsourcing of appropriate services or hiring the best in house talent at all levels. Build a responsive and highly effective AV field support and user training function (outsourced / inhouse) to ensure end users have an outstanding user experience. Uphold a strong culture of execution and accountability across the AV function Remain close to the detail of delivery and remain credible and authentic, while consistently seeking to raise the standards of performance, delivery and talent. Define challenging objectives and key results together with the wider team, monitor progress, eliminate roadblocks and prevent distractions Key requirements: AV and IT excellence (Avixa CTS preferable) Working knowledge of networking, TCP/IP and cyber security. (CCNA preferable) Solid knowledge of video, including video compression codecs Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and build relationships with non-technical users and colleagues. Solid project management experience. Ability to deliver projects on time and budget. People management - communicating effectively, empowering people, showing empathy. Execution - getting things done mentality. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. High prioritisation skills. Vender management. Experienced management of outsourced OEM venders and AV service providers. An understanding of healthcare, data protection and digital transformation would all be nice to have, but not essential.
