Overview

I am currently working with a prestigious education organisation, who are looking to recruit an Interim EDI Manager. This contract will initially be for 4 months. This role can role will be on a part time basis and offers 1 day working remotely. The main accountabilities held within this role will include: Operationalising the 3 EDI Objectives which were revised last year Support the work on the access and participation plan – particularly in relation to improving the attainment and progression of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students. Prepare the ground to become a member of the Race Equality Charter before the end of 2020 Create innovation in the EDI space – able to give recent examples of modern EDI initiatives Baseline the current EDI position Implement changes to the workforce recruitment process to address bias Implement changes to career progression routes to address bias Implement recommendations from the ‘Tackling racial harassment: Universities Challenged EHRC report 2019 Ensure adequate training and support for staff on EDI matters Consult/ raise awareness/ engage with relevant stakeholders across academic and professional services groups Other duties as advised by the director of HR & OD If you are looking for your next assignment and have the relevant skills and experience for the role, please submit your application ASAP to be considered for this exciting opportunity.
