Overview
Our PE backed client has enjoyed phenomenal growth to become the UKs market leader in their field within the manufacturing sector. The business is extremely profitable and has an aggressive growth strategy double their turnover to reach c.£40 million and underlying profit within the next 4-5 years through expanding its current customer base. In order to support their growth plans, the business is looking to recruit an ambitious and hands on Senior Management Accountant to provide commercially focused support to help drive key commercial decisions. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will establish themselves as a valued member of the team and will position themselves as a trusted business partner to the wider business by delivering robust solutions in line with the group’s growth plans. Other responsibilities include: Responsible for all the companies financial and accounting activities including preparation of full management accounts and full year end accounts. Deliver accurate month end accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and KPI’s supported with insightful analysis; be proactive in building a robust timeframe to ensure consistency and timeliness of production. Understand the key drivers within the business and manage appropriate KPI’s and Management Information to support decision making and positively influence financial, commercial and operational efficiency Prepare annual budgets and regular forecasts. Seek to develop and enhance current financial processes and controls across the business to drive efficiencies. Supporting with any ad hoc projects as required by the business.
