Overview

This successful supplier requires a commercially aware designer to work within their well-established ladies nightwear and swimwear departments, designing ranges of graphics, prints, all over prints and garment shapes. The Ladieswear designer will be responsible for carrying out trend research, working to briefs, attending customers meetings and presenting ranges, creating ladies nightwear ranges and liaising with the factories. The Ladieswear Designer may also be required to travel overseas on inspirational trips and to visit the factories. The ideal candidate for the Ladieswear Designer role must have previous experience working in Nightwear and Swimwear and have a good understanding of the fabrics and how to create commercial ranges involving prints, graphics and all over prints.
