Projects Solicitor - Associate - NQ-5 PQE - Aberdeen An international firm are looking for an Oil and Gas lawyer to join their Projects team in Aberdeen. The Firm: -Legal 500 listed international firm -Top tier projects team -Highly people orientated and progressive culture -Strong focus on delivering excellence to the firms impressive roster of clients -Based in central Aberdeen in close proximity to transport links The Role: -A fantastic opportunity to undertake a wide range of specialist work with one of the largest dedicated energy teams at an international level -The role sits within the firms leading oil and gas team which is part of the firm’s wider projects group -The team carries out a broad range of work in relation to the gas and oil value chain both in the UK and overseas. -You will be expected to advise oil majors and independents along with service companies in the market -You will be involved in working on large transactions and undertaking a wide range of multijurisdictional work -There will also be the expectation to engage in business development initiatives and attend relevant networking events Benefits: -Market leading salary -Pension plan -Private health insurance -25 days annual leave public holidays and bank holidays -Flexible working scheme -Season ticket loan -Training to develop you as a specialist About you: -The team welcomes applications from qualified project solicitors with 0-5 years PQE -You will have solid corporate, commercial or energy experience, in addition oil and gas experience is desired -You will be commercially astute with a passion for business development -You will be able to demonstrate . Energy and enthusiasm for transactional work is required be commercial aware and enthusiastic about business development be a team player, able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues in an agile environment; be technically strong and exercise good commercial judgment; and have the interpersonal skills necessary for this client-facing role.
