Are you looking for a role where you will help drive process improvements whilst playing an integral role in overseeing the maintenance of automated systems and the facilities maintenance? Do you have experience of overseeing contractors and carrying out vendor performance? This company is the world's largest express transportation / distribution company providing fast reliable services to more than 220 countries. This is their largest and busiest international hub which is a 24/7 operation full of highly automated state of the art equipment. Due to considerable growth and ongoing site expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Process Improvements Manager who has experience of overseeing and improving maintenance functions. In this varied role you will be required to support the operational continuity by providing effective facility and equipment services and solutions for planned and reactive maintenance. You will carry out project work to review and improve their current processes and procedures whilst leading in the designs, development and implementation of new processes within the department. You will also be responsible for managing vendor performance in accordance with the contractual terms as well as overseeing contractors on site. This is an exciting, demanding role which would ideally suit an experienced engineer who has experience of overseeing the facilities and production maintenance as well as process improvements. You will have ideally worked within a fast moving environment such as distribution or manufacturing.
