Overview

Customer Support Engineer role Location: Newark - you must be able to drive Package: £20,000 - £25,000 Founded just shy of 10 years ago, these guys are an established and incredibly cool software company whose software is used day-in and day-out by everyone from freelancers, to major brands, media agencies, and studios. What started as a side-project has turned into a beast in its own right, and now they’re looking for someone to come in and join their family, handling the customer support function of the business. But here’s the interesting part: you won’t just be on the phone providing support every hour of the day. This role will give you something more to chew on, whether it’s helping to test new software, or assisting with product launches, there’ll be ample opportunities to take on more responsibilities than your traditional support role. The team is small - sitting at 5 at the moment, but they want to grow it this year - so understandably they’re looking for someone bright, enthusiastic, and someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team rather than a giant faceless company They’re based in Newark, in a beautiful stately manor that has acres of maintained grounds, a coffee shop/cafeteria, and plenty of office space to roll around in. You can even stretch your legs in the countryside at lunch if you fancy it. Instead of giving an exhausting list of requirements, this job is all about you, your mindset, and your passion. The long and short of it, is that they’re looking for someone who: Has experience in software support, having dealt with software licencing, subscription renewals, and troubleshooting. Has an active interest in helping others and furthering their own technical knowledge. Confidently knows their way around Windows OS (and preferably MacOS and Linux). Is able to build rapport with ease and can explain technical details simply. Experience & understanding of 3D software/computer graphics If this wonderful opportunity sounds like it could be a better fit for you than Cinderella’s glass slipper was for her, then drop me an email.
