Overview

Job Purpose Reporting directly to the Lifecycle & Minor Works Co-Ordinator, the post holder will support the contract team in the provision of a high quality service, ensuring the upkeep of designated areas by carrying out general painting & decorating work. Responsibilities To carry out general decorating duties including reactive and lifecycle decorating works as required to maintain the internal and external building structure in an excellent condition. To liaise with IFM staff and management on the day to day maintenance of the building the reporting of issues relating to operation and appearance. Address any acute internal issues. In addition, this role will be responsible for communicating on the status of work to the client and customer. Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in. Knowledge Skills & Experience Honest, reliable, hard working individual Physically fit with good dexterity. Manual Handling ability. Able to work in a demanding and busy hospital environment. Excellent communication skills. Flexible/Adaptable approach to work. Friendly and approachable manner. Proactive approach to work. Ability to work on their own with minimal supervision. Sets and maintains very high standards of delivery – attention to detail essential. Must be prepared to undertake any training required for the role. Will be required to be a first aider.
