Based out of their new office location in Manchester city centre, you will join the team in the role of Finance Executive and assist in managing an efficient and reliable financial service for the business. Responsibilities Support the Account Executives with the collection of Client Premium payments by appropriate Management Information, follow up of Premium Credit and Insurers DDM collections and by issuing Customer statements and reminders as necessary Promptly post cash received onto the Broking System (Acturis) and to reconcile to the Bank Account. To regularly review the data posted to the Broking System ( Acturis) to ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the company’s financial records Insurer Reconciliation: having received the insurance premiums due from our clients and liaise with our insurer partners to ensure that the premium is settled correctly and as efficiently as possible with them Manage the Insurer Reconciliation process in an efficient and timely manner to ensure the collection of the broker commissions in order to meet the Company Income Collection Budgets Ensure any issues re Insurer reconciliations are communicated to the team and resolution is followed up Liaise with the team to ensure that the proper records are maintained for the finance of Client Debtor payments and any collection issues are promptly communicated and dealt with Maintaining the detailed paperwork records to support the Acturis system and track any unusual items - e.g Suspense Account transactions Requirements Experience in the finance role in an Insurance Broker or an Insurer. Good level of customer service experience Knowledge and experience of credit control Excellent problem-solving skills (complex) Ability to think and contribute strategically and turn concepts into actionable plans Good Excel and database skills High standard of numeracy and grammar skills Knowledge of the Acturis system Higher level degree or equivalent Apply online or for further information please do not hesitate to contact one of our specialist consultants quoting reference number: NJR10140
