Back End Developer, JavaScript, London, EC2, to £40k great benefits. Our client is a small, highly successful business operating in the Finance and Technology sectors. Sustained growth has led to this latest opportunity that will suit a junior Back End Developer / Software Developer (1-3 years commercial experience) wishing to further their career in a developer role where the majority of the work is at the Back End, together with significant front-end and API integration elements. Specifically we’re seeking a Back End Developer who: Has very good experience in JavaScript and can hit the ground running both in back-end and front-end development Knowledge of React would be a major plus Can self discipline and has the ability to 'own’ projects from start to finish Is able to develop their own original ideas, as well as develop on existing ideas, to benefit themselves and the company Has a passion for coding and takes pride in their work, with high attention to detail and is willing to go the extra distance to make what they build 'just right’ Clearly this will appeal to an ambitious Back end Developer who is self directed, keen for responsibility and taking ownership of entire projects; likes the idea of life/work balance and working from home for part of the working week; welcomes an environment where your code will be out there in the real world within weeks (not months or years). Above all we’re seeking a Back end Developer who is smart, mature, has an abundance of initiative and is a natural problem solver.
