Software Support Analyst
Overview
Software Support Analyst Airops Software, a leading aviation software company based at Farnborough airport are looking for a highly motivated and keen individual to join the customer success team. The software support analyst role is involved with both logging and answering support requests through to completion. The role also involves technical capabilities in terms of writing software reports, SQL scripting skills and an understanding of cloud software architecture delivered as SaaS. There is the requirement for the candidate to also join the on call rota for out of hours support assistance on critical issues. The successful candidate will be joining a company that is currently going through a period of rapid growth as we deliver our next generation of cloud based software packages to the market. Responsibilities Handle faults/requests through to completion via portal/telephone/email/remote support. Escalation of issues where necessary. Liaising with the software engineering team for issue resolutions. Develop a thorough understanding of the products and services of Airops Software. Record defects and liaise with engineering for recreating software issues. Create and amend software reports (experience in SSRS and PowerBI desirable). Monitor and debug performance and usage metrics within a cloud service portal (preferably Microsoft Azure). Execute scripts in SQL for analysing data (preferably Microsoft SQL Server/SQL Azure). Analyse code (C#, HTML, JavaScript) a bonus but not essential. Personal Skills Able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to build strong relationships with our customers. Ability to understand customer technical enquiries. Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success. Resourceful, energetic and enthusiastic, prepared to go the “extra mile”. Good attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure, both as part of the team and on own initiative. Confident and able to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues. Presents a smart appearance. An interest in aviation is a bonus but not a requirement. Working Environment The role will be based in the Airops Software main office in Farnborough, Hampshire. Occasional remote working is acceptable.
