Overview
Linux Server Engineer – Redhat, SuSE Linux, 3rd Line Support, Redhat, SuSE An IT Service provider has a requirement for a 3rd Line Server Engineer for a client project in Cheshire. This is a short-term requirement initially for 4 weeks, but with potential for extra work. The role will focus on dealing with incidents and requests, general maintenance, and some project work. Experience required: Proven experience in Linux Support, to include: Redhat, SuSE Operating Systems & Hardware. Services i.e. Web Apache, Magento, PHP sites, Kron (jobs), DNS Knowledge of supporting Database environment running on Linux i.e. Oracle, MySQL, Mongo Security: hardening, patching OS, SSL certificates Please apply with CV for further details.
