Role: Leakage Control Technician Salary: £20-23K Location: Redhill, Surrey Role Purpose: We are looking for a Leakage Control Technician to carry out all field-based activities associated with leakage management to work for one of the UK’s leading successful Water Suppliers’. Working alongside the leakage field technicians, the Leakage Control Technician will support the commissioning and maintenance of pressure control devices and the maintenance of a variety of network data devices. This is not about detecting leaks, this is about controlling those leaks once they have been identified. You will be working on company and customer assets, in leakage control and in data collection associated with helping to detect and locate leakage in the water distribution network. If the Leakage Technician sounds like you then apply today Job Responsibilities: Be responsible for deployment and collection of logging equipment in the distribution network Be involved in data download and first stage analysis of sensor data collected in the field Conduct visits to customers to encourage them to resolve leakage issues on their property Work alongside Leakage Control Technician with maintenance of pressure control devices Work alongside the Leakage Control Technician with maintenance of network data devices Participate in the trial of new and innovative technologies Experience Required: Happy to work outdoor in all conditions Experience working on Water network distribution assets At least 1 years’ experience working within the Water Industry Full UK Drivers license Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, other Microsoft packages Ability to work flexible hours
