Insurance Call Centre Sales Adviser, Witney

Working within a medium sized but growing customer contact centre as part of a team of insurance advisers you will deal with both new and existing insurance customers daily. Full training is provided but a customer service or sales based role is advantageous as the success of this role depends on building relationships based on honesty, clear communications, working to achieve shared goals and putting yourself in the customer’s shoes. There is no cold-calling, no telesales or hard sell. Your professionalism will win the business - listening to your customer, taking on board their worries and working to alleviate them. You will have to overcome objections, compete with other insurance quotes and provide first class service to retain customers and win referrals but all the support exists for you to do this. The starting salary range is £18,000 pa minimum to around £25,000 pa for someone with current insurance experience. There is no commission or bonus but there are incentives, salary and performance reviews and of course promotion prospects. There is a benefits package - with new measures coming in. The hours are on a shift system from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm or 2pm to 8 pm Monday Friday plus some Saturdays on a rota 9 am to 4 pm , over a 43 hour week. You will work just one in 4 Saturdays. The contact centre environment is smart, modern and the team comprises around 35 members.
