Overview
Summary: Risk Manager This is an extremely varied and interesting role for someone wanting to play a key part in assessing a variety of risks across the Group. This is a temporary role is expected to last for at least three months. Key Duties & Responsibilities include: • Engage with key stakeholders across the business and support the development of company risk management activities • Support the production of the Groups Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) including scenario, stress and wind down planning • Monitor the Groups adherence to defined risk appetite statement and support appropriate reporting to company governance forums • Support the Group’s incident reporting process • Assist with the completion of existing risk assessments across the business • Monitor and escalate emerging risks where relevant • Drive a culture of risk awareness and proactive control within the business • Other ad-hoc projects and duties as required Qualifications required • Financial services related qualifications • Risk Management or Internal Audit qualification Experience/skills required • Strong knowledge of industry and business operations and processes • Strong understanding of risk management • Previous experience of risk management preferably within financial services industry
