Overview
The Firm My client is a small long-standing firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors. They have many clients who are relatively large and for whom they produce statutory accounts and audits, advise on corporate finance and complex tax matters. They are based in pleasant offices in North London have a very progressive view with regard to working practices and work/life balance. The Role They are seeking a senior practice accountant to manage an existing portfolio of clients with very little supervision from the partners. You will responsible for dealing with all aspects of the jobs. To do so you will have junior staff who will support you with bookkeeping, management accounts and payroll. The Clients The clients are predominately SME’s (sole traders, self-employed and ltd companies), with turnovers to £2M. There are many owner managed businesses who have been with the firm for years. The Individual We are seeking a qualified (ACA, ACCA, or QBE) senior accountant who has experience of managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice. You will be supported by the partners and assisted by junior staff, however at the same time left to run the portfolio as you see fit. We are therefore looking for an experienced and confidence individual. This is an ideal role for someone who wishes to manage their own time and clients.
