Overview
Assistant Accountant Your new company A large organisation based in Leeds city centre is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant. Your new role As the Assistant Accountant, you will be supporting the Finance Manager with planning, forecasting and budgeting as well as liaising with budget holders to monitor any anomalies. You will also be assisting the Finance Officer with monthly audit requirements and financial reporting. This role will also include ad hoc cover for day-to-day finance processes. What you need to succeed Along with your professional qualifications or equivalent experience, you will have worked in a similar role with experience: setting and managing budgets, working with financial regulations and audit compliance, planning and forecasting and variance analysis. You will also need to demonstrate strong numerical, communication and IT skills. What you'll get in return In addition to a competitive rate of £13/14 per hour, this role will be at least 3 months with the possibility of it being extended to up to 12 months, the organisation offers flexible working, on-site parking and above average holidays. This role also offers exposure to senior finance members and across multiple departments.
