The Role: This role will enable you to be involved in projects around refrigeration & heat transfer applications. You will report into the Senior Systems Engineer and be responsible for developing high efficiency TRU (Transport Refrigeration Unit) improving and contributing to market competitiveness. Involved in experimental validation testing, developing test plans and schedules. If you have experience with thermal management in the automotive / electric / power generation industry, this could be a brilliant opportunity for you. Day to day activity will include: - Creating and validating software models of different refrigeration and heat transfer applications. - Simulation development through experimental validation testing. - Developing test plans including test scope, method statements and risk assessments. - Experience using simulation software; GT-SUITE, Amesim or EES. - Able to design, develop, modify, maintain and run complex models - Programming skills in Matlab / Python) - Able to present technical data and simulation results.
