Based out of our office in Ilkley close to Leeds U.K. we are seeking at the earliest possible date a delivery driven Data Analyst to join our team, reporting to our Data Analyst Manager. PURPOSE OF ROLE - DATA ANALYST Reporting to the Data Analysis Manager the role of Data Analyst will strive to enhance the quality and accuracy of data received from client and transform it to a format for import into the call management system. Ensuring that the full potential of all data is presented to the Sales teams in the most efficient manner. Produce timely, accurate, and meaningful Management Information (MI) that can be used across the business to inform decisions and actions at all levels across the business and for external stakeholders where appropriate. What the role will involve: Process the monthly data files for all countries in line with agreed procedures.This includes, but is not limited to: Cleaning/amending incorrect or outdated information. Checking all records against the exclusion list Removing email address information for customers who have unsubscribed in line with GDPR requirements. Clearing duplicate records Standardisation/correction of contact name information from the Cleaned Names database, and updating this with new records as and when identified. Produce daily, weekly, or monthly reporting and analysis/MI for scheduled standard reports Produce ad hoc reporting/MI as required using the most appropriate data source based on user requirements. Generate forecasting models to predict expected income and sales volumes based on historic conversion rates and average order values. Assist other departments with their data processes and automating repetitive tasks where appropriate Key skills in the role to maintain & develop; Significant experience of working with data, and its manipulation. Ability to create in-depth and complex reports using a variety of different data sources Numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. High level of reporting/data manipulation skills Advanced Excel skills including writing and debugging VBA code Adherence to existing procedures whilst exhibiting a desire for continued process improvement Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
