Senior support worker - Poole Your new company In this role as a senior support worker you will be working with 9 adults between the ages of 18- 70 years. You will be joining a well-established Care Group who are based in a residential home in Poole. This is an ideal opportunity to join a caring organisation and work in a challenging and supportive environment. The role is ideal for someone looking to challenge themselves and further their knowledge in social care. The service users you will be assisting have challenging behaviour, Autism and learning difficulties. Your new role The role of a senior support Worker is extremely rewarding however you will experience behaviours that are challenging. As a senior support worker, you will to do general support worker tasks while being the lead on the floor and help supervise the team you are working with. You will also have a partial office-based tasks such as helping with Rota's and organising training and other important tasks. What you'll need to succeed As a support worker you must have great patience and be very understanding, you will need to be motivated and passionate about helping young people. You will also need to have a genuine desire to make a real difference in people's lives. You will need to be able to drive and have your own vehicle. You must have the right to work within the UK. Senior support worker experience preferred.
