Overview
The Role: A growing, independent provider of specific and competitive lending/finance products to the UK SME sector has a requirement for a Credit Controller to join their established team. Reporting to the Collections and Legal Manager, the Credit Controller will ensure that finance contracts are enforced, and that the company’s assets and rights are protected. Responsibilities: Chasing customers for outstanding charges and the collection of late payments. Monitoring customer payment performance. Dealing with customer service enquiries such as settlements, statements and VAT. Escalating issues and complaints in a timely manner. Completing administrative tasks as necessary. Skills and Experience Required: Previous credit control experience. Experience of Leasing and/or Asset Finance would be beneficial. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload. Good knowledge of compliance requirements. Able to communicate confidently and knowledgeably on the telephone. Attention to detail, accurate and thorough. Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Salary: In return you will receive a salary of up to £24,000 plus benefits including pension, life insurance, income protection, and private medical. You will also have the opportunity to undertake external courses/qualifications in order to progress your career.
